Marianne is ninth-generation in Centre County, was born and raised in Bellefonte, and loves to support her local community. Her passions include cooking, gardening, traveling, exercising, and attending cultural events, and she has strong faith.  She is a Penn State alumna and served as President of the Graduate School Alumni Society Board of Directors and on the College of Education Alumni Society Board of Directors and Alumni Council. As a servant leader and life-long learner, Marianne has had a 31 year career in education, was President of a trade association, and serves Director of Development for a local organization.  She continues to be active in the community through volunteer efforts, philanthropic endeavors, and committee service.
