Marianne is eleventh-generation in Centre County, born and raised in Bellefonte, and loves to support her local community. Her passions include gardening, traveling, exercising, and attending cultural events, and she has strong faith.  She is a Penn State alumna and served as President of the Graduate School Alumni Society Board of Directors and on the College of Education Alumni Society Board of Directors. As a servant leader and life-long learner, Marianne has had a 31 year career in education and was President of a trade association and a senior administrator for a local organization.  She continues to be active in the community through volunteer efforts, philanthropic endeavors, and Board of
Directors and committee service.
